During law school and in addition to working with Mr. Guerra, Mr. Shapiro gained practical and clinical experience. He participated in the Criminal Practice Clinic with the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s office, where he tried and won multiple jury trials. Moreover, during law school, Mr. Shapiro also participated in the Advanced Writing Clerkship with the Maricopa County Superior Court, where he clerked for several Superior Court judges assigned to the civil bench.
